K-Diamond H-R Pepper

Pepper (left in photo) is a beautiful dark two-tone chamoisee doe, with a very mellow, sweet personality with humans. She is a bit bossy with her barn mates. Together with Cameron she has won many showmanship honors and she also stands at the top of her aged doe class at most near every show. At six years of age she is going strong, standing on excellent feet and legs, still showing off those high and tight fore and rear udder attachments. She easily earned her *M on DHIR test.

Pepper is a very affectionate doe and loves to be the center of attention. She is one of those that puts her head in your hand, licks your arm, just stands next to you when in the pen/pasture. She is also a very easy milker and stands very quietly on the stand...beautiful doe, inside and out. Twin doelings sold from 2007 (Xquisit and Xtravagent); twin bucklings in 2008 (Ying and Yang) and 2009 (Zephaniah and Z-man)...all sold into potential herd sire positions.

K-Diamond Glimmer of Hope
DOB: 2/21/05

Glimmer is also a well put together doe...lots of depth of body, spring of ribs, correctness of feet and legs, very nice udder. She is the reigning GCH Alpine and BDIS from local 4-H shows and we hope to get her into an ADGA sanctioned ring again this year. This doe passes on that great eye appeal and dairy character to her offspring...usually through triplets. Of her 2009 kids, we retained Zimmer and look for great things from this beautiful doeling.

Cassie was a lovely first freshening two-year-old in 2009 and placed well at several local 4-H shows, including first in her class at the Pride of Plains Youth show in May. This spring, in 2010, she has developed and matured into a lovely example of the Alpine breed and we look forward to her second freshening end of March and a promissing show season.

Sold as a kid in 2005, back in the herd fall 2009 - we are so glad to have Versailles back! Love this deep bodied, well-built doe, so representative of the K-Diamond genetics we aprreciate in our herd. Our only purebred French Alpine, we had high hopes for Truffle, however she still has yet to prove she is a producer after two years in our herd. She is a beautiful show doe and was several times a Junior Grand Champion and we are hoping this year she settled...we'll see in May. Bred to purebred French Alpine buck: Sweetbriar Shadow Walker.
